About Us

A Sip of History in Every Cup

Indigenous Coffee Culture is more than a coffee brand — it's a living expression of heritage, resilience, and community. Rooted in Taino ancestry and born in Miami, we craft specialty coffees that carry the stories of our people in every blend.

Rooted in Culture

Our story begins with the Taino — the Indigenous people of the Caribbean whose traditions, language, and spirit have endured for centuries. As a Taino-descended founder, building this brand is an act of cultural reclamation: honoring ancestors, amplifying Indigenous voices, and sharing that heritage through the universal language of coffee.

Miami is our home — a city of layered histories, vibrant cultures, and deep Caribbean roots. That energy lives in everything we do, from the names of our blends to the way we source and roast our beans.

Indigenous-Owned & Veteran-Owned

We are proudly Indigenous-owned and veteran-owned. Service — to country, to community, to culture — is at the core of who we are. Every purchase you make directly supports an Indigenous-led small business and helps us continue telling stories that deserve to be heard.

The Meaning Behind the Blends

Each coffee we offer is intentionally crafted. Our blends aren't just flavor profiles — they're narratives. Single-origin selections celebrate the land and the farmers who tend it. Seasonal offerings mark moments in time. And our signature blends carry names and meanings drawn from Taino culture and Caribbean tradition.

When you brew a cup of Indigenous Coffee Culture, you're participating in something larger than your morning routine. You're honoring a lineage.
